Acrylic on cotton canvas, primed with acrylic sealer.

 

Description:
The pervading blue was achieved by many coats applied over a long period. The original purpose was changed interesting repainting was needed.

Notes:
The change in intention, i.e. to develop the same sense as seen in Bird Man, resulted in massive repainting which did not completely high-temperature work. At the same time this work appears to point the way for some of the possibilities could be derived from open quote room distorting" devices which use reference points within the room for overall effect e.g. envisaged Corner Piece and Moondoor.

 

 

This painting no longer exists but ws probable related to the print of that same name. Something for the future? (AW 2025)
